Topic: "A Biofuels Primer"
Description: Timeline will trace events from Rudolph Diesel's engine through the pre-WWII chemurgy movement and end with a discussion of emerging technologies such as algal biodiesel and biomass pyrolysis for hydrogen production. This session is open to all who wish to add their input.
Particular emphasis will be placed on creating an ongoing dialogue around integrated biorefineries as an economic development platform as well as identifying the multi- disciplinary nature of the challenges.
