Past Planning Meetings: March 18, 2005, 2:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M., PBL 120
This meeting is to prepare for a public forum hosted by REI, CSLC and regional partners on Friday, April 22, 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M., at the Peter B. Lewis Building, 11119 Bellflower Rd., University Circle
To address the challenges international students are facing to find internships and after-graduation jobs, CSLC and REI jointly plan to host a meeting on April 22, to which HR people from local companies and all international students at our school are invited. Through close communication among all attendees, we hope to help you to identify your strengths and weaknesses from HR professionals’ points of view and solve such questions as why Americans hire or do not hire international students. We perceive a great value in this event.
To make the event a success, we request your participation in the planning meeting on March 18th, Friday, at PBL 120 from 2-3 PM. Please be responsible for your success in job hunting and be prepared with the questions you may have in mind for HR people. We will collect and organize your questions and present them to HR people in the following meeting. Suggestions, as always, are more than welcomed. Should you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.
